...obviously we're all dependent on the web of networked activity. If we lose our connectivity, we lose our essence. All lines feed in to us and we feed out into all lines, the multiple routes that engage us in community building, right? You don't have to answer, I know you're happy down there. It's just that the domain's autonomy is in constant need of upgrading. The barriers to reinventing this domain are considerable. Think about how much work we have to put into just maintaining who we are. If we were to even attempt to develop The Next Cool Thing we'd either have to drop the cool thing we are now or get someone else to maintain it for us. Someone like In-Tell. But when In-Tell buys in, they're gonna take whatever it is we've created and turn it into In-Tell-babble. I can see it now. And I don't like what I see. So we have to resist the In-Tell-babble and become ourselves while remaining ourselves. This gets confusing...
