He soon realized that he didn't know who these people were, only that they were claiming some random form of identity that assumed an air of familiarity in the way they presented themselves and they were all going out of their way to transmit to him their acknowledgment that the current nightmare of existence was actively forcing them to become human again. He understood this to mean that they were now going to inform most of their responses and gestures with a noticeable social element that couldn't be measured in standard commercial ways.

He couldn't place their exact position in society but felt that there was this equaniminous air permeating the atmosphere. A mirror behind the bar had an emblem stained on it. It said IN-TELL.
